Is doctors' pay related to the quality of health care in Ontario?

According to a journalist at the Star, better pay for doctors in Ontario will not 'cure' the system.

There is no doubt the system in place to compensate Ontario's doctors is broken. There is little doubt that health care is adversely affected as a result. It's high time doctors were fairly paid for their professional services, without fear of capitation or other clawbacks that threaten patient care.
