RCDSO, the Dental Regulatory College Charged with Protecting Ontario's Public in shambles?

A $1-million wrongful dismissal suit filed against the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario includes allegations of conflict of interest, ethical breaches, bullying and sexual harassment towards staff.

If the allegations are found to be true, how has the College been permitted to be dysfunctional for so long? Who is supposed to oversee the overseer and does this point to a larger systemic problem with the College model of regulation in Ontario?
