TORONTO, January 27, 2020
A class action lawsuit had been filed in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice at Toronto against Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and top Iranian officials for the shooting down of Ukraine Airlines Flight PS752.
The class action was filed by a representative plaintiff. The court will be asked to certify the law suit as a Class action under Ontario Law. Upon certification surviving family victims will become members of the class unless they choose to opt out.
